  ok, so if you haven't as yet watched the new cartoon clip on the website, be prepared to throw up!.

  it is called "jehovah loves all sorts of people", and features an awful song about how "jehovah loves everyone" even "different colors", etc....yep...they actually say that!.

  you know, the more we think about it, jehovah's witnesses are just like "big fish in small goldfish bowls".. yes, they may appear important, or "big" but this is only within a very small sphere of influence - yes only within a small and limited world.. to those outside of that small insular world, they are "no-bodies", unimportant, or at least insignificant in the real scheme of life.. so, the next time something from the witness world seems to be a big issue in our lives, step back and look at things from "outside of the goldfish bowl" .

  i have had virtually no contact with any witnesses beside my mother for the past few years.

  she watches tv constantly and claims she has never seen anything on the watchtower abuse cases.

  have been doing some tidying up and culling as we have rearranged the house.

  i threw out my old witnessing bag with song book less pens etc.was a rare feeling indeed.

  It must be something in the air around memorial season.

  Mr Awake at last threw his meeting bag and field service bag away along with the contents just over a week ago.

  We also cleaned out all the videos, CD's and books. All we have left now is the large study Bible, the Interlinear Translation and a Silver Bullet Bible. EVERYTHING else is GONE GONE GONE. I was born in and am now 52. Never in my life have I had so much cupboard and bookshelf space and a feeling of a load being lifted from me. I can now make space for my new books, Crisis of Conscience, In search of Christian Freedom, Combatting Cult Mind Control and all my worldly novels.

  Happy Memorial Season to you all. I think I might toddle down to the supermarket and buy a packet or two of hot cross buns, mmm, and some of those nice fancy chocolate eggs wrapped in foil and a bunny shaped chocolate for Miss Awake at last. She was also eyeing off a plush hen with chickens and eggs.

  Is the Watchtower is blind to Jesus' teachings?

  jesus ate with common sinners declaring that they were in (matt 21:31).. jesus denounced religious leaders declaring that they were out (matt 23 esp v15).. still the watchtower persists in making their own determinations, according to their own rules, who is in and who is out (prov 17:15).

  this is why the apostate watchtower ruling religious clergy class and hierarchy surreptitiously and contemptuously hate and obfuscate the unabridged gospel which teaches that a right and clean standing is imputed on the basis of grace (faith) and not merit (works).. are their similar instances that come to mind for you?.

  In general, forgiveness needs to be shown much more readily than in the org. It is the overuse or misuse of punishment that needs to be looked at seriously. In the case of a child abuser, too much punishment is never enough.

  The two sisters outside the African KH look happier and more genuine than any Rolex wearing GB member. I'll bet they sleep better at night too on their homemade grass beds than the GB on their expensive innerspring or latex mattresses.

  With two questions, i recieved two lies from some cart witnesses.

  today i walked up to a group of cart witnesses and picked up a watchtower.

  i opened the watchtower up to the first page , and asked one of the witnesses if he had read it.. lie # 1... he said he read it.. i ask my second question to a woman witness sitting next to him , who by the way was hard to tear away from her cell phone..... "whats this watchtower about?

  , "........ lie # 2 ... she said she read it , but forgot "exactly" what the main points were about..

  hey all,.

  i'm curious about the times and places we all come and check in on this great forum.. is it after a long day at work while having a drink, or during the work day on your mobile tablets, or quickly in-between family evenings etc...?.

  do most "hide" their tracks when using the family computer, perhaps using "private browsing"?.

  After dinner at night. The best time though for me is early hours of the morning because that is when the American and UK posters are awake and posting, so most activity then. It is 8.20pm in NSW Australia at the moment and not much happening.

  I think from what I am reading here and from past experiences, they would try to correct your thinking on just about anything GB approved......even a family of cartoon characters.

  You would probably be shown more tolerance if you said you didn't like a Bible character.
